Sewer Commission OKs abatement, generator purchase, refund
Sewer Commission · Meeting of August 13, 2026
TYNGSBOROUGH — Sewer Commission approves abatement, generator purchase, and engineering services agreements. The Commission unanimously approved interest abatement for an out-of-town property owner at 15 Elm Avenue, Dracut, who claimed non-receipt of sewer bills, and authorized a $39,916.47 generator purchase for Sequoia Drive pump station under the $50,000 FY27 budget allocation. Kathy Cayer, Sewer Administrator, will explore buyback options for excess sewer flow from vacant parcels after learning property owners cannot sell flow directly to one another.
The Commission signed two Woodard and Curran services agreements budgeted at up to $25,000 for engineering and $6,000 for legal support on an as-needed basis.
