Sewer Commission approves two new connections and Vesper settlement work
Sewer Commission · Meeting of July 9, 2026
Tyngsborough Sewer Commission unanimously approved two new connections and accepted completed settlement infrastructure. The Commission voted 3-0 to authorize sewer hookups at 44 Middlesex Road and 35 Tyng Road, with the former drawing capacity from the Charles George Landfill site. Commissioners also accepted settlement work completed on Pawtucket Boulevard in April 2026, fulfilling terms of a January 2025 agreement resolving a Land Court lawsuit involving Vesper Country Club.
Sewer Administrator Kathy Cayer reported that 130 Middlesex Road plaza property is using 3,592 gallons per day against a 2,640 gpd allotment, exceeding capacity by 952 gpd equivalent to three ERUs; owner Michael Farris will investigate potential leaks by August 13.
