Tyngsborough Sewer Commission votes to bill residents quarterly starting in 2028. Chaired by Brian J. Martin, the panel unanimously approved switching from twice- to four-times-a-year residential billing after a resident requested smaller bills; Sewer Administrator Kathy Cayer estimated the change will cost about $5,000 more a year in postage and printing.
Stantec engineer Kevin Klein pitched tying a proposed 200- to 240-unit development into the town's six-inch force main near a property referred to as Vesper, saying a third pump-station connection would give "better flushing than you're going to get with the two." Cayer also reported a Middlesex Street plaza anchored by Casadores and the Thai Elephant Restaurant appears to owe roughly three more sewer connections, while a proposed car wash expansion could need as many as 36. Vesper paid the town just over $6,000 after exceeding its flow cap, with a vote to accept new sewer infrastructure set for September 24.
