Sewer Commission · Meeting of October 8, 2026
Tyngsborough's Sewer Commission accepted ownership of new sewer infrastructure along Pawtucket Boulevard and warned a stalled installer he has 30 days to finish a gas station hookup or lose his town privileges. Sewer Administrator Kathy Cayer said the installer, identified as Sonny Meadows, made only a saw cut at 397 Middle Six Road about eighteen months ago and rarely answers calls since. "Most times he doesn't answer the phone, and when he does, he tells him he'll come out, but it doesn't happen," Cayer said.
The board also approved an interest-free payment plan for a resident on Merrimack Street, abated $287.09 in overpayment on a 10 Spring Street account, and authorized a $27,549 pump purchase after a spare pump had to be pressed into service. Commissioners voted to enter executive session on pending litigation brought by Plaza at Palmview Place, LLC against the commission and the Board of Health.
