Planning Board approves Kendall Rd. warehouse flex-use modification, continues diesel station hearing
Planning Board · Meeting of June 18, 2026
TYNGSBOROUGH — Planning Board backs warehouse flex-use modification after power cuts constrain Kendall Rd. project. MP Properties IV and Storage & Distribution Group won approval to build Phase II as either a 275,000 square foot or 125,000 square foot facility, or use 7.5 acres for outdoor storage and trailer parking, after National Grid reduced electrical capacity by roughly 50 percent. The vote passed 4-1, with Vice Chair Jeremy Baldwin opposed; the motion required the applicant to consult Town Planner Benjamin McClure about tenants and submit any site plan changes for board review.
In separate action, the board continued its hearing on a Global Partners diesel fueling canopy and service kiosk project at 95 and 99 Westford Rd. to July 16 after raising concerns about stormwater, vehicle flow, and signage; a traffic study found no significant impact to area intersections.
