Finance Committee endorses town meeting warrant articles; fire station project tops agenda

Tyngsborough Finance Committee endorses fire station project and most town meeting articles. Chair Lawrence G. Clawson, Jr. and the five-member panel heard Town Manager Colin Loiselle present a Fire Station Building Committee proposal carrying a $24 million maximum authorization.
The committee then voted to recommend Articles 1-17 and Article 22 of the warrant; it took no position on Article 18 and recommended against Articles 19, 20, and 21. One contested vote on Article 20 split 4-1, with Earl Mason opposing the non-recommendation.
