Conservation Commission approves culvert replacement conditions
Conservation Commission · Meeting of April 14, 2026
Tyngsborough's Conservation Commission approved conditions for replacing a degraded culvert on Dunstable Road. Voting 5 to 0 on April 14, the commission issued a Standard Order of Conditions for the town project, requiring the contractor to develop contingency plans for wet weather, submit construction sequences, monitor restored wetlands for two growing seasons, and follow best practices for invasive species management. The commission also voted unanimously to issue a Negative Determination for a Department of Public Works culvert repair at Coburn Road.
Three development applications were continued to April 28 following a reopened hearing, and the commission approved minor tree removals and a fee schedule increase in the Request for Determination of Applicability from $50 to $75.
