TYNGSBOROUGH — Commission on Disability approves prior minutes and focuses on ADA grant opportunities. The six-member commission, led by Chair Rae Ann Jacek, discussed Town Meeting accessibility including closed captioning and bus transportation, then pivoted to identifying potential ADA Improvement Grant projects with a June 12 deadline. Members proposed an additional LRTA driver, playground improvements at multiple town locations, accessible swings for all ages, communication boards at schools and Ironwood Park, and updates to Littlefield Library steps.
Patricia Sicard named Bridge Meadow Field as a priority given its extended history of accessibility efforts.
