Tyngsborough schools approve $28.3 million FY2027 budget unanimously

Tyngsborough School Committee unanimously approves $28.3M FY2027 budget. Assistant Business Administrator Dan Hogan presented a total school expenditure of $28,307,557 with School Committee budget of $24,548,034, which the seven-member committee approved after a public hearing. Assistant Superintendent Michael Woodlock delivered updates on teaching and learning initiatives and student achievements, including Tyngsborough High School students placing sixth at the Massachusetts DECA Conference.
Dr. Flanagan announced a tentative agreement with Council #93 including a regionally competitive salary scale, internal hiring based on seniority, and removal of longevity provisions effective July 1, 2026.
