TYNGSBOROUGH — Fire Station Building Committee directs design team to include geothermal heating and cooling in hard costs. Chair Adele Coughlin's committee voted unanimously on the motion, sponsored by Vice Chair Wesley Russell, as the project's total budget stands at $24.6 million. The committee also explored utility incentives through the MassSaves program's Tier 3 option, with design team member Katrina Pacheco noting that an MOU would lock in rebate funding without binding the town.
A revised hard cost budget is due by the following Tuesday.
