Tyngsborough School Committee approves superintendent contract and Director of Student Services. Superintendent Michael Woodlock's contract was unanimously approved, as was the appointment of Josh Evans as Director of Student Services following a June 12 internal interview, with Chair McMahon presiding. The committee also unanimously ratified transportation and food service contract amendments for 2026-2027, approved two overnight THS field trips to Martha's Vineyard and the Give Kids the World program, and increased the Theatre Program Activity Fee to $200 per student annually in a 4-0-1 vote with Danielle Athanas abstaining.
Personnel announcements included the retirement of TES prekindergarten teacher Julie Simon after 29 years of service and the hiring of seven new staff members, including new principals and instructional specialists.
