Tyngsborough School Committee approves prior minutes, processes $2.1 million in summer spending. Chair McMahon led the August 4 session during which Superintendent Mike Woodlock reported enrollment in the three-year New Superintendent Induction Program with monthly content and 6+ hours of coaching per month. Assistant Superintendent Sarah Lewenczuk updated the board on summer work across all three buildings, including TES hiring a new principal and adopting a new mathematics curriculum for grades 3-5, plus TMS schedule reviews to enhance support and enrichment.
The committee processed resignations from TES School Psychologist Mikayla Merksamer and TMS Paraprofessional Jayden Valkavitch, and hired five staff members. A joint meeting with the Select Board is scheduled for August 10 to fill a vacant School Committee seat.
