Tyngsborough School Committee approves superintendent's goals 7-0 as solar project costs rise. The committee unanimously backed Superintendent Mike Woodlock's 2026-2027 goals and voted 7-0-0 to send 2025-2026 executive session minutes to town counsel for review. Business Administrator Dan Hogan told members the rate the district will lock in for a planned Tyngsborough Elementary School solar canopy has risen from about 10 cents to 15 cents per kilowatt-hour after the project was reclassified as prevailing-wage work, still "an incredible rate" with no delivery charge, he said.
A member pressed Hogan on repaving risk, saying, "I just wouldn't want to have a surprise repaving as a result of this." The committee also welcomed new member Michelle Julia, thanked BAPS Charities for a walkathon donation, and noted paraprofessional Makayla Royal's resignation after more than a year of service.
