TYNGSBOROUGH — Sustainability Committee approves FY27 trash calendar and shifts program focus. Chair Diana Keohane and five members present finalized a colorized fiscal 2027 calendar and locked in leadership for Zero Waste Days (Carolyn Scafidi and Deborah Schneider as co-captains), Repair Cafes (Keith Morse, captain), town cleanup (Amy Pozerski, captain), and holiday lights collection (Anthony Buschur, captain). The committee will pursue styrofoam food container and school lunch tray bans following a presentation by Junior Girl Scout Troop 83838.

Keohane signaled intent to recommend the Select Board assign representation to a state working group on trash and recycling contract renewal, due in two years.
