Tyngsborough Select Board opens May Annual Town Meeting warrant, ratifies Assistant Fire Chief contract. The board unanimously voted to open the warrant for the May 5, 2026 Annual Town Meeting and approved the employment agreement with Pat Sands as Assistant Fire Chief, aligning with recent union and non-union settlements. Town Manager Colin Loiselle presented draft cost estimates for a new fire station rendering and began walking the board through FY27 budget line-item cuts across departments including hazardous waste collection, health department inspections, and council on aging maintenance.

The board also unanimously posted the warrant for the March 3, 2026 Special State Election for the vacant state senate seat.
