School Committee approves superintendent search subcommittee, evaluation timeline.

TYNGSBOROUGH — The Tyngsborough School Committee unanimously approved formation of a subcommittee to gauge superintendent candidate interest, on a motion by Rebecca Stanton seconded by Danielle Athanas, and endorsed the annual evaluation timeline for Superintendent Dr. Flanagan, also unanimously. Chair Ryan McMahon presided with four Committee members present, including Danielle Athanas, Rob Mullin, Stacey Guido, and Rebecca Stanton.

Business Administrator Joseph Messina and Assistant Business Administrator Dan Hogan attended. The Committee signed warrants totaling $1,576,629.71 and reviewed enrollment at 1,592 students across the district as of April 1. The Superintendent notified the Committee of a scheduled January 2027 Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Internal Management Review audit of Special Education and Civil Rights compliance.
