Tyngsborough Planning Board Approves Kendall Road Business Park Subdivision Plan

TYNGSBOROUGH — July 6, 2023 — Tyngsborough Planning Board unanimously approves definitive subdivision plan for Kendall Road Business Park, with a bond contingency. The board voted 5-0 Thursday to approve the definitive subdivision for Commerce Drive, a new 472-foot public road that will serve two industrial lots, the town's Park and Ride, and the DPW highway garage off Kendall Road, conditioned on the incoming Planning Board engineering firm TEC reviewing and approving a road bond estimate of $467,049.50. Dave Williams, principal of Storage and Distribution Group, LLC, told the board the project is at the 25 percent drawing stage for state road construction plans, with construction targeted for early spring. The board also unanimously approved a special permit for a 854-square-foot temporary independent living quarters at 7 Mustang Road, presented by contractor Scott Connell and homeowner Dan Tully. In administrative discussion, board members flagged an unresolved drainage problem at the Twelve Brothers development after video submitted by a member showed water sheeting across the roadway during the July 4 weekend rainstorm — the planned regrading fix, meant to redirect flow into Basin 8, has not yet been completed.
