Town Launches Sewer Inspections, Seeks Senior Center Hours Input

The town is putting two community notices on residents' radar Tuesday: sewer manhole inspections get underway along local streets, and the Council on Aging is asking residents to weigh in on a possible shift in hours at the Center for Active Living.

TOWN HALL

Sewer manhole inspections are scheduled for Tuesday, June 23, and Wednesday, June 24, according to a News Flash alert posted by the town late Monday evening. The town urged residents to be aware of crews working in the area on both days. No street closures or detour details were included in the advisory; residents with questions can check the town's official site at https://www.tyngsboroughma.gov/CivicAlerts.aspx?aid=354.

Separately, the Council on Aging and Town Administration are gathering community input on a potential change to operating hours at the Center for Active Living. The town has not specified which hours are under review or what direction the proposed shift would take, but a survey is available through the town website for residents who want their voices heard before any decision is made.
