Sewer Commission approves I/I covenant and grant-funded flow studies.
Sewer Commission · Meeting of March 12, 2026
TYNGSBOROUGH — Sewer Commission approves I/I covenant and redirects budget funds for flow studies. The board unanimously approved a signed covenant for 46 Middlesex Road and authorized the use of $10,000 from the police details line item to fund expanded flow metering through Woodard & Curran, extending the investigation into May. Separately, the commission heard proposals from two major projects: Flint's Corner Development inquired about additional gpd beyond the 20,400 already allotted, while Wingate Properties presented a 250-unit assisted living complex at 84 Kendall Road estimated at 35,950 gpd to Dracut.
Sewer Administrator Kathy Cayer will calculate applicable privilege fees. The commission prioritized Option 2 of a forthcoming CDS grant application covering 46 connections, with design costs recovered through betterments; an article for May Town Meeting will authorize borrowing for the match.
