Select Board approves liquor licenses for Edge District development at 440 Middlesex Road

Select Board · Meeting of January 26, 2026

Tyngsborough Select Board approves liquor licenses for Edge District. The board voted unanimously to grant four on-premises alcohol and common victualler licenses to TCI-LHE LLC for units at 440 Middlesex Road, with applicant Sam Park citing $500,000-per-restaurant investment and plans for a fast-casual pizza restaurant, farm-fresh venue, and entertainment concept. The board separately voted 4-1 to adopt a Sustainable Purchasing Policy, with Selectperson Adele Coughlin dissenting; the policy unlocks approximately $7,000 in annual MassDEP grants beginning in FY2027.

The board also ratified personnel contracts for the Director of People and Culture and Fire Chief, both previously approved in executive session, and discussed an early-stage proposed friendly 40B age-restricted rental development at 352 Middlesex Road featuring market-rate units at $1,900-$3,000 monthly and affordable units at $1,700-$2,000.
