Select Board · Meeting of June 1, 2026
TYNGSBOROUGH — Select Board reorganizes with unanimous votes for top posts. Jackie Geilfuss retained the Chair position, Eric C. Eldridge elevated to Vice-Chair, and Adele Coughlin named Clerk in the board's annual leadership reset.
The board unanimously approved a Class III road opening permit for Dracut Water Supply's water main extension project, scheduled to run approximately four months with no additional cost to residents. In a second unanimous vote, the Select Board reaffirmed support for a redesigned fire station headquarters at a lower cost than a prior proposal rejected by voters in May, directing the Fire Station Building Committee to resume work while soliciting community feedback on site location, committee makeup, and cost reductions.
