Tyngsborough COA director plans July 30 retirement, May 1 job posting

TYNGSBOROUGH — Director Barbara Roche announced a July 30 retirement from the Council on Aging. The board will open job posting May 1 and select a new director in June, with Rose Mitchell volunteering to assist. Roche reported the budget on track at 76.9 percent spent and noted upcoming events including an April 24 Volunteer Appreciation Lunch and May 15 Mother's Day Party.

The board also discussed liability insurance issues for participant-paid instructors and rescheduled the May meeting from May 19 to May 12 to accommodate town voting day.
