Sustainability Committee schedules spring events, reports trash tonnage up.

Sustainability Committee · Meeting of March 17, 2026

Tyngsborough Sustainability Committee confirmed spring events and reported rising waste. Chair Diana Keohane and five members approved the prior meeting minutes and finalized dates for a Repair Cafe on April 18, town-wide cleanup in April, Taste of the Town on April 22, and Zero Waste Day on May 2. Trash and recycling tracking showed tonnage up 2 percent year-over-year with town spending up 7 percent, falling short of reduction targets.

Keohane and member Carolyn Scafidi will attend the MassRecycle Conference on March 24.
