Tyngsborough Council on Aging adopts revised dress code and affirms firearms law. The Council on Aging voted 9-0-0 to adopt a revised dress code policy for the Center for Active Living and affirm compliance with Massachusetts General Law Chapter 269 on firearms following board discussion of constitutional and safety concerns, with the dress code set to go before the Select Board on February 23. Director Barbara Roche reported the center is at or slightly below budgeted figures and highlighted upcoming St.
Patrick's Day and Volunteer Appreciation events. The council is pursuing an AARP grant to help fund automatic interior doors at the Police Department, Old Town Hall, and the Center for Active Living.
