Alyssa Lee named Tyngsborough's new Elder Services director

Town Manager Colin Loiselle announced the appointment of Alyssa Lee as the town's next Director of Elder Services, while the Dracut Water Supply District began water main work on Lakeview Avenue on Tuesday.

Town Manager Colin Loiselle announced the appointment of Alyssa Lee as Tyngsborough's next Director of Elder Services, according to the town's News Flash feed. Further details on Lee's background and start date were not included in the announcement.

The town also published a PFAS Information Resource Guide for residents, explaining that the "forever chemicals" can migrate into drinking water through contaminated soil. The guide is meant to help residents understand the issue based on their specific water source, and is available through the town website.

Separately, the Dracut Water Supply District began water main work in the area of Lakeview Avenue starting Tuesday, August 4, according to a town notice. Residents in that area should expect construction activity as the project proceeds.

Several town committees have meetings scheduled this week, including the Fire Station Building Committee and the Capital Asset Management Committee, according to the town calendar.
